Nitric oxide source

Slower-release arginine

Recycled into arginine

Citrulline plus energy-cycle malate

Carnosine building block

Energy metabolism

Nerve signalling

Four are about nitric oxide: two forms of arginine (fast and slow) and two forms of citrulline (recycled into arginine). Niacin covers cell energy, calcium covers nerve signalling, and beta-alanine is a small supporting amount for carnosine. See the mechanism on the how it works page.
The combined arginine and citrulline (600 mg) is lower than the gram doses in most trials. That is normal for a once-a-day capsule and is why we call it gradual daily support. Judge it over weeks.
| Ingredient | Talk to your doctor if |
|---|---|
| Arginine, arginine AKG | Blood-pressure medicine, nitrates, ED medicine, recent heart attack, cold sores |
| Citrulline HCl, citrulline malate | Same nitric-oxide cautions |
| Beta-alanine | Kidney problems |
| Niacin | Liver problems, gout, diabetes, low blood pressure |
| Calcium | Separate calcium supplements, certain antibiotics |
